Position Overview
As a model you will represents the brand, product, and service through photo shoots, fashion shows, commercials, and other media.The job responsibilities of a model typically include the following:
Work with photographers, art directors, and stylists to create images that meet the client's vision.
Maintain a healthy and fit physique through exercise, diet, and personal care.
Promote products and services through photo shoots, fashion shows, and other events.
Attend fittings and rehearsals for fashion shows and other live events.
Pose for still photography and video shoots.
Follow the direction of the photographer or director to achieve the desired look or mood.
Collaborate with other models and professionals to create a cohesive visual narrative.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and maintain a professional image both on and off set.
Hours: Shoots vary from being ~3 hours, half day or full day at the direction of the photographer and/or director. Compensation varies per shoot, starting at $150 - $300+
Qualifications: To be successful as a model, one should have a combination of physical attributes, as well as interpersonal skills, such as communication, confidence, and professionalism. A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to take direction are also important qualities for a product model to possess. This is a part-time, contract position. While there are no specific educational requirements for modeling, a background in food or nutrition is preferred but not required.
