Chef Dan Catanio
Armed with determination and passion Chef Dan enrolled at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park New York in the 1990s. Upon graduation he was the Saucier at the Waldorf Astoria in New York. He later was the executive chef at Harvey's Resort Hotel Steakhouse in Stateline, Nevada. Chef Dan has worked at many 5-star restaurants as Corporate Executive Chef Director, as Executive Chef for Country Clubs, Hotel Convention Center Resorts, and Indian Casino Resorts. He Also made several media appearances as an expert chef, including Executive Producer of his own 2 Culinary TV Programs, Culinary Magic and Oregon Bounty Cooking Show. Today, Chef Dan has a passion for teaching the next generation of culinary professionals, but he also enjoys cooking classes for home chefs.
