Roasted bell pepper have a naturally sweet flavor profile. This is complemented well with a filling on the sweet or savory side to not contrast each other. If you would like to introduce zesty flavors, then blending the seasoning with a sweet basil would create a good accompaniment and would ensure the filling or seasoning blend well with the main bell peppers.
