  • Ground Turkey – 1lb

  • Vegetable Broth – 2C

  • Bell Pepper – 1 Large

  • Red Onion – 1 Medium

  • Garlic – 1-2 Cloves

  • Olive Oil – 1Tbsp

  • Tomato Sauce – 1C

  • Salt – 2tsp

  • Pepper – 1tsp

  • Chili Herb Blend – 1Tbsp

  • Large Pot

  • Cutting Board

  • Chef’s Knife

  • Spatula or Wooden Spoon

Cooking Directions for this Quick and Easy No-Bean Chili Recipe:

  1. Wash the bell pepper and peel the onion. Slice the bell pepper in half, then remove the seeds, membrane, and stems from inside the bell pepper. For the onion, peel the outer skin off, then slice the onion in half and start cutting per our vegetable cutting guide. Peel, then mince your garlic clove(s) .

    Dice the onion and pepper into small pieces.


  3. Add the oil to a large soup pot. Heat the oil on medium heat, then and add the diced onion and diced bell pepper to the pot. Sauté until tender, this entails mixing to make sure nothing sticks to the bottom. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes. At this point, add the granulated garlic and sauté further until golden, for about about one more minute.

  5. Add the ground turkey to your pot. Using a spatula or wooden spoon, break up the ground turkey. You can also use a gloved hand for this purpose or a potato masher. Once in the pot, sauté the meat for about 10-15 minutes, until there is no more pink and the meat has turned a golden brown color. At this point turn the heat to medium-low to prevent the turkey from sticking to the bottom of the pan.

  7. Add the spices, herb blend, broth, and tomato sauce to your pot. Incorporate the ingredients full, and simmer for 15-20 minutes. As the stew simmers, the liquid will evaporate, to limit the reduction put a lid on the pot. As the liquid evaporates the flavor becomes more concentrated.
