Linguine ai Frutti Di Mare Recipe

In Italian, Linguine ai Frutti di Mare literally means “Linguine to fruits of the sea”. The “Fruit of the Sea” refers to clams, muscles, calamari rings… and anything other “fruits of the sea” of the Mediterranean. However, clams are an absolute staple of this recipe and are simply a must have! Buona appetito.

Linguine ai Frutti Di Mare Recipe Description

This linguine ai frutti di mare recipe is made with linguine pasta. However, other common versions of this recipe use spaghetti pasta, bucatelli pasta or other types of pasta lunga or “long pasta”. Therefore pasta corta like elbow pasta or penne pasta are not appropriate for a pasta ai frutti di mare recipe.

Al dente pasta delicately intertwined with an opulent medley of impeccably sourced seafood, bathed in a luscious tomato sauce, adorned with aromatic herbs for a sublime, ocean-inspired culinary experience.
