Meals exclude all potentially inflammatory ingredients while preferring foods low or moderate in purine content. To limit the accumulation of uric acid crystals in the joints, a nutritious diet is mandatory. You should also drink a healthy amount of water to flush out uric acid from the body.

Idaho State University / MealPro collaboration. The Idaho State University department of Nutrition and Dietetics used this meal plan in a clinical study. In this clinical study a sample of patients with interstitial cystitis were offered the anti-inflammatory meal plan over ten weeks while a control group continued their regular diet. The two groups were reversed in the second half of the trial. The goal was to reduce inflammation through diet.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to receive my zone diet meals? For the pacific US we ship and deliver on weekdays. For the mountain, central, and eastern US we deliver Thursday and Friday.
How long do my meals last? You can store your zone diet meals in the fridge for a three or four days - or in the freezer for a few weeks. Each meal has a label with a best-by-date.
How do I heat my meals? You can heat your meals in the oven, microwave - or transfer to a skillet and heat over a stove top. Instructions are on the package.
What form of payment do you accept? We accept Visa, Discover and Mastercard.
How are my meals packaged? Your diet plan is packaged in microwave-safe meal prep containers and are vacuum sealed using a high barrier protective film. Your meal plan arrives in a corrugated box with a special thermal liner. One box contains your entire zone meal plan. Dry ice is used to keep your food cold during transit.
Is MealPro a subscription service? By default, every order is a one-time order. You have the option to opt-in to recurring orders. After placing your first order you will receive an email with your account login instructions, you can then login to your account and opt-in if you would like.
Where do you deliver? MealPro delivers to all 50 United States. So long as you can recieve packages from services such as FedEx or UPS, we can deliver to you!
What if I am not home when my food arrives? No worries, your meals have enough coolant so they can stay in the thermal packaging for the day.
Can I pick my meals? Yes. Choose your meals and build your own meal box choosing from our anti-inflammatory a-la-carte menu.
